Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Wardlume ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the Wardlume app, or opening a blessing link at wardlume.app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Wardlume.

2. What Wardlume is, and is not

Wardlume offers reflective and contemplative content for personal wellbeing: a daily ritual of check-ins, short reflections, symbols, and an evening release, plus an AI you can talk to at the end of the day.

Wardlume is not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and it makes no statements about future events or outcomes. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats, or forecasts anything. If a reflection resonates, that meaning is yours. The app offers prompts, never prognoses.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away. Wardlume is not an emergency service and cannot help in a crisis.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The core daily ritual is free. Wardlume+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription that deepens it. Three plans are offered:

Weekly, $14.99 per week, starting with a 3-day free trial.
3 Months, $67.99 per quarter.
Annual, $77.99 per year.

Prices are shown in USD; your store may show local pricing, and the exact amount always appears at the point of purchase.

Auto-renewal. Each plan renews automatically at the end of its period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Free trial. The weekly plan begins with a 3-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancel during the trial and nothing is charged.
Managing and cancelling. Subscriptions are managed entirely through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

4. Blessing links

Wardlume lets you send a short blessing to someone as a link. The text you write travels inside the link itself and is never stored by us. You agree not to use blessing links to:

harass, threaten, demean, or impersonate anyone;
send content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or aimed at a minor inappropriately;
mislead a recipient about who sent the link or what it opens.

The receive page screens incoming links and shows a neutral message instead of any content that fails its checks. To report a link that felt wrong, email [email protected] and include the link.

5. Your content, our content

Words you write in Wardlume, reflections, releases, blessing text, remain yours. Because blessing links are never stored by us, you grant us no license over them; they pass through the link alone. Everything else in Wardlume, its name, mark, design, reflections, symbols, and soundscapes, belongs to us or our licensors, and these terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it within the app, nothing more.

6. Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Wardlume or its services, and do not attempt to make the AI produce content that violates these terms or any law.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Wardlume is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app is uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Wardlume is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where that is the case, these limitations apply only as far as the law permits.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Founder: jurisdiction], excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to your local courts.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Wardlume evolves. When we do, the effective date above changes, and meaningful changes are noted in the app's release notes. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.
